SANAD organized an evening with the Oud maestro Charbel Rouhana and Tunisian poet Anis Chouchene in July 2017 in a magical fundraising event. Organized by our exceptional committee in the Beka’a, the event was held at Sama Chtaura resort marking the official launch of central Beka’a office which is generously supported by the Mhanna and Matta families.

Yet again Ali Kedami sets a self-imposed challenge over 72 hours, to bring awareness and engagement to the mission of SANAD. During these 72 hours, Ali ran day and night, across the city, mountains, and villages, in an infinity-shaped path. He barely stopped or slept, running to infinity and back.

Our first Music and Poetry event was held in the American University of Beirut’s, Issam Fares Hall. Lebanese musician and Oud maestro, Charbel Rouhana was accompanied by Tunisia’s Anis Chouchene andLebanon’s Zahi Wehbe in a mesmerizing reading of poetry set to sound of Oud.

International sensation Maz Jobrani gave his audience a night of laughter at fundraising event at the Forum de Beyrouth. The stand-up comedian’s performance in collaboration with the improvisational theater pioneers LABAN was hosted by local comedian and SANAD’s loyal supporter, Elias Ghoussoub.
