"His passing was very peaceful, he was never in pain.
SANAD did not allow it."

- A patient's wife

SANAD was established to attentively address the many challenges experienced by advanced chronically and terminally ill patients and their families as they together deal with the condition and its reality. Our holistic approach to hospice care enables us to respond to any medical, social and psychological challenges patients and their families may encounter.

We aim to assist patients in staying as alert, functional and comfortable as possible within the calm and sanctuary of their own home, surrounded by family and loved ones. We provide these support services to patients irrespective of their nationality, religion, gender or diagnosis.

High Quality Hospice Care

At SANAD, we ensure the provision of high-quality hospice care by following international guidelines and quality standards, maintaining adequate and ongoing training for healthcare professionals.

We provide care through a committed hospice care team that consists of doctors, nurses, and clinical psychologists.

Our medical team includes five doctors; two of whom have international certification in palliative care. The medical team is led by a medical director who has more than 20 years of geriatric experience and over ten years of palliative and home-hospice care experience.

Our nursing team comprises of eight experienced nurses. Our Director of Nursing has eleven years of experience in home-hospice care.

The Mental Health (wellness) team consists of two clinical psychologists whose years of experience in clinical psychology range between 6 and 12 years.

We provide Pain and Symptom Management, in accordance with the International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care (IAHPC) Manual of Palliative Care, and adopt several quality indicators of the National Quality Forum Performance Measures for Palliative and End-of-Life Care.
