As part of the Lebanese National Cancer Plan and under the umbrella of the Ministry of Public Health, SANAD and Balsam held an awareness session on “Why Palliative Care Matters” at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Zahle and Beqaa. In the presence of Dr. Pierre Anhoury, palliative care specialist and Advisor to the Minister of Health, the session focused on knowledge-sharing, community empowerment, and addressing common misconceptions about palliative care.
