SANAD participated in the Patient’s Assistance and Care Excellence Congress (PACE) 2019 ‘Palliative Care Day’ at the Notre Dame Des Secours University Hospital. A presentation about SANAD’s Model was presented by our medical director Dr Salam Jalloul. In addition to that, our Registered Nurse Mira Obeid and our Nursing Director Zeinab Zebara conducted two workshops – one being on pain management and the other on care of the imminently dying – to a panel of health professionals. A huge thank you to Dr. Tony Sawma for his wonderful collaboration with SANAD, we look forward to sustain this relationship to raise awareness and educate professionals about palliative and hospice care in all of Lebanon.
