SANAD’s team, represented by the organization’s founding president, Lubna Izziddin, Nursing Director Zainab Zibara, and the Head of the Quality, Research and Development Unit Farah Demachkieh and Psychologist Zeina Ramadan, visited Kuwait on the 16th of this month.
The visit included various stops that varied between training and raising awareness about palliative care and networking with members of the Kuwaiti medical and social community in partnership with the Kuwaiti Palliative Medicine Association and the Women’s Social Cultural Association.
The visit included a two-day workshop on palliative care presented by the team in conjunction with Dr. Amina Ansari at a meeting organized by the Women’s Social Cultural Society. The team also provided training on palliative care for medical staff at Al Hayat Royal Hospital.
“Good Morning Kuwait” also hosted SANAD’s president Ms. Lubna Izziddin and member of the Board of Directors of the Women’s Social Cultural Association Ms. Moody Al-Saqir to talk about palliative care. Dr. Amina Al-Ansari also joined the interview via telephone intervention.
The visit also included multiple meetings with personalities from the Kuwaiti society.
