Charbel Rouhana and poet Anis Chouchene joined forces once again 2017 a the Sama Chtoura resort. The fundraiser was organised by SANAD’s Beka’a committee to mark the official launch of the central Beka’a operation in a magical fundraising event.

SANAD organized an evening with the Oud maestro Charbel Rouhana and Tunisian poet Anis Chouchene in July 2017 in a magical fundraising event. Organized by our exceptional committee in the Beka’a, the event was held at Sama Chtaura resort marking the official launch of central Beka’a office which is generously supported by the Mhanna and Matta families.

Yet again Ali Kedami sets a self-imposed challenge over 72 hours, to bring awareness and engagement to the mission of SANAD. During these 72 hours, Ali ran day and night, across the city, mountains, and villages, in an infinity-shaped path. He barely stopped or slept, running to infinity and back.

Touch, the telecommunications company, generously funded the production of a promotional video for SANAD, launching a text message fundraising campaign.

With the kind and continuous support of MBC, SANAD produced a video for Charbel’s present to SANAD « بخاطرك حبيبي » in 2016; the song will be officially launched early 2018. The song was written and composed by Charbel Rouhana, produced by MBC, and directed by Danielle Rizkallah.

Our first Music and Poetry event was held in the American University of Beirut’s, Issam Fares Hall. Lebanese musician and Oud maestro, Charbel Rouhana was accompanied by Tunisia’s Anis Chouchene andLebanon’s Zahi Wehbe in a mesmerizing reading of poetry set to sound of Oud.

SANAD hosted its annual fundraising gala dinner at Sursock Palace Gardens, Achrafieh. Media partners along with local celebrities and socialites attended the event.

For the third year in a row, SANAD held a gala dinner on the evening of May 16, 2016, at the magical Sursock Palace Gardens in Achrafieh, Beirut. The event was hosted by SANAD’s friend Nishan Derharoutyounian. This Gala helped SANAD to sustain its hospice care free of charge support to the patients and their families.

Ali Kedami raised funds for SANAD by running non-stop for 48 hours. His track began in Tyre taking him to Beirut and then Tripoli, before returning back to Beirut.
