SANAD was selected by the European Palliative Care Academy (EUPCA) to receive the Award for Palliative Care Leadership Programmes 2023, for its “Capacity and Model Building Programs” project. Our award winning programs aims at supporting and enabling other institutions to create their own palliative care service programs and improving the palliative care knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds. The program was established in 2017 and has been implemented in several local and regional healthcare entities, benefiting 400 healthcare professionals. The award was announced at the European Association for Palliative Care 18th World Congress 2023 that took place in Rotterdam, Netherlands.Farah Demachkieh, Head of the Quality, Research, and Development unit at SANAD, represented SANAD in receiving the award.
